Would you like to learn how to support your own health, and the health of your loved ones, with safe, effective, inexpensive and environmentally conscious natural remedies and strategies that you can easily make and use at home?

Herbal Home Remedies are based on herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, flowers and other natural ingredients commonly found in home kitchens and gardens. Join naturopath Sonya Byron for this interactive and fun workshop, in which you will:

What to expect:

  • meet powerful healing plants and learn how to easily identify them in the wild or to grow them yourself in your home garden;

  • learn about the medicinal properties of these plants and how, when and where to apply them;

  • learn how to make your own natural home medicine cabinet! Sonya will share her favourite natural remedies for common health complaints, including colds, coughs and flu, sore throats, allergies and eczema, digestive disorders, fatigue and insomnia, headaches and migraine, poor circulation, bruises and burns, sprains and painful joints, period pain, menopausal symptoms, stress and anxiety, and much more!;

  • learn important hygiene and safety considerations, including which remedies are appropriate for children and the elderly, and when to call a doctor.

There will be plenty of time to ask Sonya your own questions, and you will leave the workshop feeling newly confident to care for your health and the health of your loved ones using the power of mother nature!

What’s included:

All materials, equipment and ingredients are included in the workshop price. Participants will receive a copy of Sonya’s 40-page herbal home remedy book to take home with them, which contains all of the key information and recipes included in the workshop, so they can continue to practice their new skills at home. Participants will also have the opportunity to take home samples of some of the remedies made during the workshop, including infused oils, healing balms, elderberry syrup, fire cider and more, so please bring a few small glass jars with you for taking home different product samples on the day.

Complimentary tea, coffee, and treats will also be provided.
